Kayanga Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) is a private owned institute which was registered on 31/08/1994 by the ministry of Works and youth development with registration number: NVTD/ C.30/414/4-. with the current certification VETA no VET/KGR/PR/2015/C/053. The registration number provides a legal framework to be an important national Centre for provision of various vocational trainings so as to alleviate qualitative and quantitative shortage of skilled manpower within the framework of sustainable capacity building directed towards reducing poverty and attaining sustainable development.
Kayanga VTC Mission
Kayanga VTC inspires, prepares, and empowers students to succeed in a changing world. This Means: We inspire students to learn and develop as whole people; intellectually, physically, and emotionally We inspire students to continue learning throughout life. We prepare and empower students to be successful by helping them develop the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to enter or progress within the work force or to transfer to a four – year institution, and to adapt and thrive in our increasingly diverse and ever changing world.
RECOMENDATION
Kayanga VTC is one of the leading institution championing to end poverty in the region. For the last 11months Kayanga VTC has been going significant stress due to the economic challenges facing the centre. Our work build trust, skills, understanding and friendship with the aim of building long term security to our students. Throughout the year we have been working with both the government through the District government and in Partner with other Non Governmental Organizations in making sure we do what we say: “ we deliver the best”. These are as analyzed below;
